Casa Blue Sea is a beachfront villa in a gated community on the coast between Cabo San Lucas and the San José del Cabo airport, and the whole house sits on one level with not a single step. Seven thousand two hundred square feet in total, five thousand eight hundred of them air conditioned.

The pool has a wide shallow area — the detail that decides bookings for families with small children. A three-year-old can stand up and play in it, in full view of the loungers. Combined with the step-free layout, this is one of the easiest houses in our portfolio to bring toddlers to.

The pocket doors in the living room, the dining room and the master disappear completely, leaving the Sea of Cortés unobstructed. There is private beach access, a palapa, an outdoor bar, a grill and a pool shower; a fire pit with seating, a hot tub, four loungers, an outdoor kitchen and bar, a beachfront palapa and beach equipment. The kitchen was remodelled in November 2024. The covered tennis centre of the ATP Open is across the highway.

The Five Suites

Every suite has its own bathroom, a television and a safe.

One Level, and a Pool Children Can Stand Up In

No steps anywhere: bedrooms, kitchen, living areas, pool and beach access are all on the same plane. The pool's shallow shelf is wide enough for small children to play in while the adults stay on the loungers a few feet away.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an extra charge for larger groups?

Yes, and it is a significant one, so we put it first. Groups of more than 10 guests pay an additional USD 150 per person, per night. The maximum is 12. A group of twelve therefore pays USD 300 extra every night on top of the rate — over a week that is USD 2,100. We would rather you knew before booking.

Where is Casa Blue Sea located?

On the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and the San José del Cabo airport, Baja California Sur, Mexico, beachfront inside a gated community.

How many guests can Casa Blue Sea accommodate?

Up to 12 guests. Above 10, the additional per-person nightly charge applies.

How many bedrooms and bathrooms does it have?

Five suites and six bathrooms: 5 full en-suites, one for each suite, plus 1 half bathroom.

What is the bed configuration?

A master with a King, a second bedroom with a King, one with two Queens, one with two Queens plus a trundle, and one with two Twins that convert into a King.

Is Casa Blue Sea beachfront, and can you swim?

It is beachfront with private beach access. The sea along this corridor is not always swimmable — ask your concierge for your specific dates and we will tell you honestly how it is running. The pool and hot tub are always there.

Is the pool heated, and is it safe for small children?

The pool has a wide shallow area where small children can stand and play. Ask your concierge to confirm the heating arrangement for your dates.

Is housekeeping included?

Yes, housekeeping is included with your stay.

Is a private chef available, and how is it charged?

Yes. Blue Desert Cabo arranges a chef, a butler and grocery pre-stocking, quoted separately. Chef service is priced by meal and number of guests: for 6 to 12 people, breakfast or lunch is USD 240 and dinner USD 340, plus 16% IVA. Groceries are billed separately with a 30% service charge.

Is butler service available?

Yes, arranged by Blue Desert Cabo and quoted separately: USD 25 per hour with a four-hour minimum, plus tax.

Is concierge service included?

Yes. Blue Desert Cabo concierge service is included with every stay. Your concierge arranges a chef, a butler, grocery pre-stocking, airport transportation, spa, yacht charters and golf. The services themselves are quoted separately.

Are pets allowed at Casa Blue Sea?

No. Casa Blue Sea does not accept pets.

Is smoking allowed at Casa Blue Sea?

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the villa. It is allowed outside. If there is evidence of smoking indoors, a fee of USD 250 plus IVA applies for each hour of cleaning required, in addition to the cost of cleaning curtains, rugs and soft furnishings.

Can we host a wedding or an event at Casa Blue Sea?

Ask before booking. We do not publish an event capacity or fee for this villa because we do not have them confirmed in writing, and we are not going to guess. Tell your concierge what you have in mind and we will get you a definite answer.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. If you need either adjusted, ask your concierge in advance.

Are there stairs?

No. Casa Blue Sea is entirely on one level, with no steps anywhere in the house.

Is tax included in the rate?

Yes. The published rates for Casa Blue Sea already include the 20% tax.

Are there rules for Christmas and New Year bookings?

Yes. A seven-night Christmas booking must end on or before 28 December, and a New Year booking must start on 26 December or later. Your concierge will check your dates against this before confirming.

Is Casa Blue Sea good for families with small children?

It is one of the best in our portfolio for it: no steps anywhere, a wide shallow area in the pool, and a bedroom with two Queens plus a trundle.
