Casa Mañana is a beachfront villa in Palmilla Norte, the gated stretch of Palmilla where the terrace ends and the sand begins. What makes it rare is the beach itself: Palmilla Norte is one of the few genuinely swimmable beaches on this coast, and the villa has private access straight onto it. Five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and up to 12 guests.
The architecture is built around stone — rock walls and accents run through the living areas and into every bedroom — and the whole house faces east, so mornings start with the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez. Tall sliding glass doors open the living and dining area onto the terrace, and the gourmet kitchen with professional stainless appliances has a bar that looks straight out at the water.
The terrace is the centre of the day: a heated pool and hot tub with panoramic views, a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace, eight loungers, a BBQ and an outdoor dining table on the sand side. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are there for guests to use — which is only worth having because the water in front is calm enough to actually get in.
All five bedrooms have king beds and flat-screen televisions; the primary suite adds a sofa bed, a lounge area and a bathroom with a stand-alone shower, rain shower and dual vanity.
