Casa Tortuga sits alongside the Cabo del Sol golf course inside the gated community, with the fairways in front and the Sea of Cortez beyond them. It is a Mexican-style villa of about 4,800 square feet, built around its outdoor space rather than hidden behind it.
There are five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, sleeping ten. The two primary suites open directly onto the pool; the remaining bedrooms sit apart for privacy, and one of them is a separate guest casita. Beds are two King, one Queen, two Twins and two Doubles — a mix that works for families with children as easily as for a group of couples.
Outside is where guests spend their days: a private pool and jacuzzi, a poolside palapa with a wet bar, a long terrace with several seating and dining areas, a gas barbecue and a fire pit for the evenings. Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining room and living room run together, with sliding glass and corner windows that pull the light and the view all the way in.
Golf, beaches, resorts, dining and shopping are all inside Cabo del Sol or a few minutes along the corridor. Housekeeping is included.
