Yes — and that is unusual in Los Cabos. Casita Oasis is a short walk from Palmilla Beach, one of the very few residential beaches on this coast that is safe for swimming. Most beaches along the corridor have strong surf and undertow and are not swimmable. From Palmilla you can also paddleboard and take lessons.

Is the villa itself on the beach?

No. Casita Oasis is not beachfront. It sits above the water with ocean views, and the beach is a short walk away.

How many guests does it sleep?

Casita Oasis has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests. It suits one family or two couples rather than a large group.

Tell me about the pool.

It is a half-moon infinity pool set high above the water, so the edge lines up with the Sea of Cortez. The deck has sun loungers and several shaded lounge areas, each with a different angle on the view.

Where do we eat outside?

There is an outdoor dining table for six under a columned terrace, plus an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and a stone fireplace. Several separate lounge areas mean the group can spread out.

Are there stairs?

Yes. Casita Oasis is a multi-level villa with stairs and stone steps between the garden, the terraces and the bedrooms. If someone in your group cannot manage steps, tell us and we will suggest a single-level villa instead.

An open floor plan with vaulted beamed ceilings, large windows and doors that open onto the terraces, a kitchen with an island and wine storage, an indoor dining room, and living areas that look straight out to the ocean.

Where exactly is it?

In Villas del Mar, Palmilla, on the Tourist Corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. It is close to the Palmilla golf course, restaurants and the marina area.

How far is the airport?

San Jose del Cabo International Airport is about 20 to 25 minutes by car.

Can Blue Desert Cabo arrange a private chef and groceries?

Yes. Our concierge arranges private chefs, pre-arrival grocery stocking, transport, golf tee times, boats and fishing. These are quoted separately from the villa rate.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Are pets allowed? Can we smoke?

Please ask us about pets. Pets may be possible on request, but it has to be confirmed for your dates before you travel — do not travel with a pet until we have confirmed it in writing. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the villa. Guests who wish to smoke may do so outside, in the open-air areas. The neighbourhood also observes quiet hours from 10:00 PM, and any event must be pre-approved in advance.

What is the square footage?
