Espíritu Casita 101 sits in the gated Espíritu enclave inside Palmilla, on the hillside above the Sea of Cortés, with the Palmilla golf course on the other side. It is a hacienda-style house rather than a glass box: carved wood, beamed ceilings, talavera tile, arches, Mexican textiles and folk art. If the modern white-and-concrete villas of Los Cabos leave you cold, this is the one.

Six bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, most of them looking at the ocean, most with a carved headboard and a terrace or balcony of their own, plus a half bathroom for the common areas. Twelve guests, and nobody has to walk through someone else's room to reach the view.

Outside there is a heated infinity pool at the edge of the terrace with the sea behind it, a jacuzzi, a fire pit lounge facing the water, a palapa with a hanging bed and armchairs, a stone fountain under a pergola, outdoor dining, a grill and a large lawn. Inside, a carved stone fireplace opens onto the terrace, and the kitchen has a talavera backsplash, a copper hood and an island with bar seating. A golf cart is included — in Palmilla that is worth more than it sounds. Housekeeping is included, and the Blue Desert Cabo concierge — included with every stay — arranges a chef, a driver, groceries, massages, nannies, airport transport and golf.

Hacienda Style, Not Minimalism

Carved wood, beamed ceilings, talavera, arches, textiles and Mexican folk art throughout. The living room's fireplace is carved stone and opens straight onto the terrace; the kitchen has a copper hood over a talavera backsplash. It is a house with a point of view, which in a market full of interchangeable modern villas is the reason guests remember it.

The Terrace, the Pool and the Palapa

The heated infinity pool runs to the edge of the terrace with the Sea of Cortés behind it. Palmilla: What Is Around You

Palmilla's golf and tennis, its beach, its restaurants and its shops are all close. San José del Cabo is a short drive, and Los Cabos International Airport is roughly twenty-five minutes away. Palmilla Golf Club is currently private and open only to its members: the eight ocean holes previously open to the public are being renovated from December, with public access expected to return sometime in 2027. Your concierge can arrange tee times at the other championship courses of Los Cabos.

Events at Espíritu Casita 101

Events may be considered with prior written authorization from Blue Desert Cabo, requested before the booking is confirmed. Final capacity depends on the setup and the vendor plan, and we confirm it in writing for your event. Amplified music is permitted from 10 AM to 10 PM, and outside vendors need approval in advance with their list submitted beforehand. The event fee is one night's rate plus IVA, and a refundable event deposit equal to one night is held and returned four days after check-out if there is no damage.
