Casa Cielo Pedregal

Casa Cielo Pedregal | 10-Bedroom Hilltop Ocean-View Villa

Sleeps 20 | 10 Bedrooms | 11 Full + 2 Half Baths | 10 King | 18,000 sq ft | Pedregal, Cabo San Lucas

Casa Cielo is a ten-bedroom villa at the top of a hill in Pedregal, Cabo San Lucas, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Cortés and the Cabo San Lucas Marina all at once. It is not a beachfront house — it is the opposite, and deliberately so. The height is the point: this is the villa groups book to watch the New Year's fireworks over the marina, or the start of the Bisbee's, the fishing tournament that shuts down the town every October.

Eighteen thousand square feet hold ten bedrooms, every one with a King bed, along with eleven full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. The house is multi-level, with stairs between areas and no elevator, so tell us in advance if someone in your group has trouble with steps. Inside there is a bar in the living room with an ice machine and a minibar, a game room with a pool table, a separate TV room, a Sonos system throughout and a work area with a desk. There is also a set of New York Yankees jerseys on the walls that guests either love or ask about.

Outside there is a heated infinity pool and a jacuzzi, each with its own heater so both can be warm at the same time, a gas fire pit, outdoor dining for twelve, a gas barbecue, terraces, a private lawn, a hammock and a lower-deck palapa that works as a second bar. Parking fits twelve cars. Daily housekeeping is included from 8 AM to 3 PM, and the Blue Desert Cabo concierge — included with every stay — arranges a chef, a butler, groceries, airport transport, spa, yachts and golf.

The View Is the Reason

From the terraces you see three things at once: the Pacific on one side, the Sea of Cortés on the other, and the Cabo San Lucas Marina below. Very few houses in Los Cabos sit where the two oceans meet in one frame. It is why the villa books out for New Year's, when the fireworks go up over the marina, and for the October start of the Bisbee's Black and Blue.

Getting to the Beach

Casa Cielo is a hilltop villa, not a beachfront one. Pedregal Beach is about five minutes away by car, but the water there is not swimmable — the Pacific surf on that stretch is dangerous and we would rather tell you now than on arrival. For swimming, Médano Beach is about ten minutes by car and is the calm, swimmable beach of Cabo San Lucas.

Tennis and Pickleball at the Pedregal Club

Access to the Pedregal club's tennis and pickleball courts can be requested in advance. It is subject to availability, permitted hours and the community's own rules, so it is never automatic — ask your concierge before you travel and we will tell you what is possible for your dates.

Inside: Bar, Game Room and Pool Table

The living room has its own bar with an ice machine and a minibar. Next to it a game room holds a pool table and space for cards, and there is a separate TV room so a film and a card game can happen at the same time without anyone moving. A Sonos system runs through the house, and there is a desk for anyone who has to work.

Events at Casa Cielo

Weddings and private events may be considered with prior written authorization from Blue Desert Cabo, requested before the booking is confirmed. Depending on the setup the villa holds up to 100 guests for a seated dinner or up to 150 for a cocktail reception. Amplified music is permitted from 10 AM to 10 PM. Outside vendors need approval in advance and their list submitted beforehand. The event fee is one night's rate plus IVA, and a refundable event deposit equal to one night is held and returned four days after check-out if there is no damage. Parking holds twelve cars, so larger events should plan valet or transport.
